Dear teachers and instructors, I am a university student from Goettingen, Germany and will write my Master's thesis about intercultural Learning in Projects of European Encounters. My case study will be the project week in St. Marienthal and, therefore, I am in need of some information about situations of intercultural learning during this week. I would like to ask you to encourage your learners to participate in an online survey till September 19th. They will have access to the survey, which will take about 20 minutes, via this link Since this is the basis for my research paper, I am dependent on your learners' participation! At the same time, the survey will help them to reflect the project week in St. Marienthal. Of all participants a 10 Euros Amazon voucher will be drawn by lots fot motivational reasons. furthermore, I would like to ask you do describe a situation on intercultural learning yourself (next page). Was there a situation in which the participants ha problems to communicate with each other (due to the foreign language, other cultural differences or non verbal misunderstandings? What was the situation about? Which nationalities were involved? Were they able to solve the problem? If yes, how did they do it?
